Chen Yiting, a member of the 2020 high-level track and field team of our School of Physical Education, won the third place in the women's 200m final at the 2024 National Indoor Track and Field Championships in Tianjin recently.
In the preliminary competition on March 30, Chen Yiting entered the final with the first place in the preliminary competition of 24.17 seconds, and Ma Chengna, a high-level 2018 outstanding alumni of our school, also entered the final. Due to their excellent performance, both of them reached the national Master level athletes in the 2021 National University Track and Field Championships and are currently playing for the Zhejiang team. On March 31, Chen Yiting won the third place in the women's 200m final in 24.19 seconds, and Ma Chengna won the championship in 24.00 seconds.
It is reported that the event was hosted by the Chinese Athletics Association and the Tianjin Sports Bureau, and athletes from more than 20 provinces and cities and regions across the country competed in 14 competitions for men and women, interpreting the charm of sports with hard work. Although the 2024 National Indoor Track and Field Championships have come to an end, the athletes' fighting spirit will always inspire everyone to move forward, and they are expected to make new achievements in the future and write a more brilliant chapter.
